A graduate of the philology faculty of Moscow State University, between 1997 and 2003 Anton Dolin worked with the Ekho Moskvi (Moscow Echo) radio station as news correspondent and, subsequently, as film correspondent. Since 2001, he has also been film correspondent for the daily Internet newspaper Gazeta. His articles have appeared in the Internet journal Russky Zhurnal (The Russian Journal) and the film journal Iskusstvo Kino (The Art of Cinema). Anton Dolin is the first Russian film critic to obtain an exclusive interview with Lars von Trier without prior arrangement.
