Engaged with the questions of history and theory of fashion, design and photography. Gives lectures on the theory of contemporary art and photography at the Saint Petersburg State University, at the European University in Saint Petersburg, at the National Research University – Higher School of Economics in Moscow, at the Center for Contemporary Art «Garage» (Moscow) and at the The State Russ­ian Mu­seum and Ex­hi­bi­tion Cen­tre ROSPHOTO. Member of the Fulbright Programs and participant of research projects of the Giorgio Cini Foundation, Venice (Fondazione Giorgio Cini). Prize-holder of the state grants of the Russian Federation in the field of theory of culture. Author of books and articles on fashion, design and photography.
